Bea Binene and Derrick Monasterio will be paired anew in an upcoming GMA-7 series titled Tsuper Hero.
In an Instagram post by @kapusoprgirl on September 16, it was revealed that Alma Moreno and Gabby Concepcion will also be joining this new comedy series.
The cast members include Miggs Cuaderno, Betong Sumaya, and Phillip Lazaro among others.
Gabby announced in his Instagram post that the Kapuso series will air every Sunday.
This TV show marks the return of Alma Moreno in doing a regular TV series.
She was previously seen in ABS-CBN's 2008 adaptation of her movie Eva Fonda, starring Cristine Reyes.
Prior to this, Alma appeared in episodes of Magpakailanman and Dear Uge.
This is also Gabby's second TV project with GMA. His first was the primetime series Because of You where he was paired with Carla Abellana.
It can be recalled that Bea and Derrick were also paired in the Kapuso afternoon series Hanggang Makita Kang Muli that ended last July.
The DerBea love team expressed their excitement to be working with each other again for Tsuper Hero.
Derrick posted on his Instagram account a picture with Bea. He wrote in the caption, "To my forever loveteam! Congrats sa atin!!"
Bea then replied in the comments section, "Naks. Nakakaloveteam! Hahaha. Congrats satin DM!!!"
Prior to this, Bea and Derrick were co-stars in the youth-oriented show Tween Hearts.
The two also took part in a love square with Barbie Forteza and Kristoffer Martin in the second chapter of the multi-generational primetime series Luna Blanca (2012).
In 2013, the DerBea love team was formed through the now-defunct sitcom Vampire Ang Daddy Ko, starring Vic Sotto, Oyo Sotto, and Ryzza Mae Dizon.
