The plot continues to thicken in Encantadia 2016 as Alden Richards is introduced as Mulawin Lakan in this fantasy TV series.
Alden first appeared on Encantadia last Wednesday, September 22.

In a video posted by GMA Network on its Youtube Channel, Alden shared a few details about his character Lakan.
He said, "Isa siyang Mulawin na nagpakalayo layo sa Encantadia dahil sa sama ng loob.
"Magiging relevant yung character ni Lakan sa mga Sang'gre at sa mundo ng Encantadia."
According to the Pambansang Bae, he enjoys doing the role so much because it is challenging.
The actor-TV host related, "Kapag pinanuod mo yung Encantadia, somehow you get lost in their world as well.
"It involves flying, it involves harness.
"Nung nasukat ko na siya [costume], hindi ko alintana yung bigat, yung init, basta Mulawin ako, that's it."
The video also showed how Alden's flying scenes were shot.
In the particular scene, Lakan flies in the air with Mikee Quintos who plays Lira/Milagros.
Alden and Mikee taped their scenes in front of a green screen.
