Rachelle Ann Go will be making her Broadway debut in 2017 as she reprises her role as Gigi in the revival of Miss Saigon.
The Filipina singer/actress is flying out to New York City for Cameron MacKintonsh's Broadway revival of Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil's critically-acclaimed musical Miss Saigon.
Directed by Laurence Connor, the musical will be staged on its original home at Broadway Theater starting March 1, 2017 until January 13, 2018.
Early this month, it was reported that Rachelle Ann was pulled out from the Divas Live in Concert with fellow Cornerstone talents Angeline Quinto, Kyla, Yeng Constantino, and KZ Tandingan for a "major project." Now, the good news is out!

The Filipina actress first portrayed the role in London's West End which earned her the Best Supporting Actress in a Musical at the 2015 What's On Stage Awards.
After her stint at Miss Saigon, Rachelle was cast as Fantine in the West End production of Les Miserables.
Aside from Rachelle, Filipino theater actor Devin Ilaw was also announced to join the cast in New York City. He will reprise the role of Thuy which he portrayed in the 2010 Toronto revival of the Miss Saigon. Some of his theater credits include Marius in the 25th Anniversary North American Tour of Les Miserables, Evan in Wearing Black, and Lun Tha in The King & I.
The two will be joining fellow Filipino talents including theater actors Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer, and Eva Noblezada who portrayed the titular character of Kim in the Miss Saigon's West End production in 2014.
