After her getting a coveted nomination in the 44th International Emmy Awards, Jodi Sta. Maria is gearing up for her second movie this 2016.
On October 3, she had a story conference for this upcoming romantic-comedy film produced by Star Cinema.
Titled Dear Other Self, Jodi has two new leading men: JC de Vera and Joseph Marco.
This new movie is about a woman (Jodi) who will be torn between taking care of her loved ones and living the life she always wanted.
In the middle of her decision-making process, she encounters two guys: someone who will give her excitement and adventure (JC), and someone who will offer security and stability (Joseph).
The upcoming movie will be directed by Veronica Velasco, who helmed films I Do and Tuhog, and the TV shows Pure Love and Oh My G!

The movie also serves as a comeback for Jodi after the success of The Achy Breaky Hearts, which was shown last June. In this movie, she figured in a love triangle with Ian Veneracion and Richard Yap.
