My Love From The Star lead actor Gil Cuerva is now officially a talent of GMA-7.
Earlier today, January 13, the model-turned-actor inked a contract with the Kapuso network.
"I know that I'm in good hands and I'm very excited for the future," Gil was quoted as saying by @gmanetwork.
Present at the contract signing were GMA Senior Associate Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, and Cornerstone Entertainment, Inc. President Erickson Raymundo.
Cornerstone Entertainment handles the career of Gil.
"I hope you all support me and my projects because now I'm officially a Kapuso," Gil was quoted as saying by Kapuso PR Girl.
Even before Gil signed a contract with GMA Network, it was already announced that he would play Matteo Do in the Philippine adaptation of My Love From The Star.
In the remake of this Korean drama series, Gil is the leading man of Jennylyn Mercado.
The two have already started taping for MLFTS, which is one of the offerings of GMA for the first quarter of 2017.
