Filipino-German model Maureen Wroblewitz is the winner of Asia's Next Top Model Season 5.
This is the first time the Philippines won the highly coveted titled from the said reality-modelling competition hosted by Thai supermodel Cindy Bishop.
The 18-year-old Fil-German bested 13 other finalists around Asia.
Minh Tu Nguyen of Vietnam and Shikin Gomez of Malaysia are her runners-up for the competition.
Maureen impressed the judges—comprised of Cindy Bishop, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Creative Director Yu Tsai, Ruby Adler of Storm Models, and Adele Chan, editor-in-chief of Nylon Singapore—during the final photoshoot and catwalk challenge.
"You've really proven that you're more than just a pretty face!" Pia told Maureen during the final panel with the judges.
The winner of Asia's Next Top Model Season 5 will take home a brand new Subaru Impreza, a cover and fashion spread in Nylon Singapore, and a modeling contract with Storm Model Management in London.
For the finale of AsNTM, Maureen, Tu, and Shikin had an avant-garde photoshoot with the theme "Motherland" as they channeled power and pride.
Meanwhile, the finalists wore couture designs at a fashion show held at the National Art Gallery in Singapore.
