Coco Martin says they deliberately made the exit of Onyok from Ang Probinsyano vague and open-ended.
The child star, whose real name is Xymon Ezekiel Pineda, was last seen on the May 26 episode of the ABS-CBN teleserye. His character was sent off to live with his biological mother, played by Alessandra de Rossi.
When PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Coco what he will miss most about Onyok, he said with a smile:
"Siyempre yung kakulitan niya saka napakagaling na bata at napaka-
professional."
Coco also said that Onyok will still be busy with other projects.
How does he feel about characters who leave Ang Probinsyano?
"Oo.
Ang Panday is the entry of Coco to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.
What will Onyok's role be in this upcoming fantasy-action movie?
"Hari ng mga dwende," disclosed Coco.
Aside from bringing life anew to the Pinoy komiks character, Coco will serve as the director and producer of the movie that will be under his own company, CCM Creative Productions, Inc.
