These celebrities showed support for their friends who are starring in these entries.
Here are photos from the gala screenings of the Cinemalaya movies Requited, Nabubulok, and Bagahe held at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (Main Theater) of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Entries for the 13th edition of Cinemalaya will be shown until August 13 at the CCP and in Ayala Malls cinemas namely Greenbelt 1, Glorietta 4, UP Town Center, TriNoma, Fairview Terraces, and Marquee Mall in Pampanga.

ABS-CBN actress Kim Chiu was spotted at the CCP last August 8. She watched both movies that held their premiere night: Sharon Cuneta's Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha and the biking movie Requited.

Kim came to support her Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin co-star Jake Cuenca who is the lead actor and producer of Requited.

In the movie, JC plays the tricycle driver Rommel, who intended to discover the mystery behind the foul odor coming from the house of their American neighbor Jason Harper.

Gina Alajar is Ingrid, the washerwoman (labandera) of the Harpers who is also the cousin of Luna, the wife of Jason. Ingrid was rattled when she got fired from the household and her cousin went missing.

Hollywood actor Billy Ray Gallion, who was part of the Lost series, played the role of Jason Harper in Nabubulok. He is cast as the father of the character of Jameson Blake.

Tony Calvento served as the executive producer of Nabubulok. His son is Sonny Calvento, the director of the movie.

Nabubulok is Sonny's first movie. Prior to directing, he was a writer of ABS-CBN teleseryes such as Apoy sa Dagat and You're My Home.

The Cinemalaya 2017 entry Ang Gurong Hindi Marunong Magbasa had its gala premiere last Sunday, August 6. Garie Concepcion, who was part of the cast, was supported by her boyfriend, singer Michael Pangilinan.
