Former Star Magic talent Marco Gumabao is set to appear in a GMA-7 program.
He will be featured in the upcoming episode of the Kapuso drama anthology-public affairs program Wish Ko Lang.
This was announced by director Adolf Alix, Jr., who helmef the episode that will be aired this Saturday, November 4.
In the episode, Marco will be joined by One Up member Yasser Marta.
This is the first time that Marco will have an acting project with GMA since he transferred to Viva Artists Agency (VAA) last September.
In the past, Marco had a guest apperance in the Kapuso noontime variety show Eat Bulaga to play in the "Jackpot En Poy" segment.
His transfer to VAA became controversial when it was reported that Star Magic withdrew his invitation to the 2017 Star Magic Ball.
However, at the last minute, Marco was able to attend the event.
Marco started his career in ABS-CBN and Star Magic in 2012.
He was introduced as Miles Ocampo's love team partner in the youth-oriented series Luv U, which ran for four years until 2016.
Marco was also able to do the teleseryes Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013) and Forevermore (2014).
He also did several episodes of the crime drama anthology Ipaglaban Mo.
From 2015 to 2016, the 23-year-old actor was able to do three consecutive teleseryes with the Kapamilya network: Ningning (2015-2016), Tubig at Langis (2016), and Magpahanggang Wakas (2016-2017).
His last Kapamilya teleserye was a short kontrabida role in the ongoing afternoon series Pusong Ligaw.
Marco and VAA has yet to announce if he will also have a regular teleserye with the Kapuso network.
Currently, he is shooting a movie called Para sa Broken Hearted with Shy Carlos, Yassi Pressman, and Sam Concepcion.
