Lexi Fernandez, a former actress of GMA-7, makes a public appearance for the first time after many years. She was present at the premiere night of Sharon Cuneta-Robin Padilla and Julia Barretto-Joshua Garcia movie Unexpectedly Yours.
Celebrity guests also attended the red-carpet premiere of the movie held on November 28 at SM Megamall.
Unexpectedly Yours is believed to be director Cathy Garcia-Molina's second to the last film after she announced her impending retirement last October.
The film, which opens on November 29, is Graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board.

It has been a long time since Lexi was last seen by the public. Her last regular project was the GMA-7 series Kakambal ni Eliana, which aired in 2013.
In a blog post she wrote in 2016, Lexi admitted that she quit showbiz because of depression.
Lexi was rumored to return to showbiz via ABS-CBN's La Luna Sangre, but this did not materialize.

Julia's father, Dennis Padilla, was also at the premiere night. He has been vocal in saying that he approves of Joshua for his daughter Julia.
