ABS-CBN's Dyan Castillejo left for Bahamas yesterday, August 13, to cover the "Miss Universe 2009" beauty pageant.
This is the second time Dyan will be covering the event and she says covering the pageant is like doing sports coverage because the candidates are just as competitive as sports athletes.
Dyan has also been in touch with Philippine representative Pamela Bianca Manalo and will be bringing the latest news about her and the pageant via Umagang Kay Ganda, TV Patrol World, Bandila, and ANC.
ABS-CBN will air the Miss Universe 2009 live via satellite on August 24 (Monday) at 9:30 AM with a primetime telecast the same day via Velvet (SkyCable channel 53) at 8:00 PM, on August 25 (Tuesday), 8 PM on Studio 23, and on August 30 (Sunday), 10 PM on ABS-CBN.
