Jessy Mendiola is happy for ex-boyfriend JM de Guzman who is making a showbiz comeback after two years.
The 25-year-old actress told TV Patrol in a January 3 interview, "I'm really happy for him.
"Lahat naman ng tao may pag-asang magbago so kung saan siya masaya, masaya ako para sa kanya."
It may be recalled that JM took a hiatus in 2015 to undergo therapy for his drug addiction.
Last December 2017, the former Angelito: Batang Ama actor was seen meeting with Star Magic.
JM is also gearing up for his movie comeback, which will be produced by TBA Studios.
With JM's comeback, is Jessy willing to work with her ex-boyfriend?
She answered, "Basta sa akin, as long as he is okay, he is happy, he has fully recovered and he is ready to work, good luck sa kanya.
"I am very happy for him too."

The 25-year-old actress said, "Now, mayroon akong newfound hope and it looks like 2018 will be really, really exciting.
"'Yong TV series, I think they are making one na. Movies, mayroon akong isa pero hindi pa napu-push through kasi holidays na."
Jessy herself has been on hiatus from doing TV shows since July 2017, after she left the Sunday program Banana Sundae.
Her last regular TV program was Wansapantaym: Just Got Laki, while her last teleserye was the late-night series You're My Home, which aired from November 2015 to March 2016.
