Maine Mendoza reposts video of this ABS-CBN show

Just like any other person, it seems like GMA-7 actress-TV host Maine Mendoza also enjoys watching viral clips online, including those aired by rival station ABS-CBN.

Yesterday, January 4, Maine posted on Twitter a link leading to an Instagram video post by Kapamilya TV host Luis Manzano.

She wrote in her tweet, "Para sa mga nalulungkot.."

The link shows a video clip from the ABS-CBN weekend show I Can See Your Voice that has been going viral in social media.

In the video, a contestant is telling her story about being bullied and called "aswang" when she was in Grade Six.

SING-vestigator Bayani Agbayani then tried to uplift the contestant by giving encouraging words.

With dramatic background music, he told the contestant, "Ang nanay ko dati, talagang tinatawag siyang Aswang.

"Sabi ko, 'Nay bat ba sinasabing aswang kayo?'

"Alam mo niyakap lang niya ako ng mahigpit tapos naiyak siya."

At this moment, the cameras focused on the reactions of the audience and fellow artists, who were already teary-eyed.

Bayani then delivered the punchline: "Tapos lumipad na siya!"

As of this writing, Maine's tweet has already 2,067 retweets and 8,237 likes.

One fan told her, "Hoy! ABS yan pero natawa ko ha hahaha!"

Other fans, on the other hand, did not mind Maine sharing a video from a rival network. There were those who said that Maine really knows how to make people smile.
