The remake of Meteor Garden to be aired in China was released online on May 24, 2018.
Avid fans of the Asianovela definitely got excited, especially since it was announced that the reboot is set to air this year.
Some of the most remarkable scenes in the 2001 version were given fresh, new interpretations in this 2018 reboot.

Meteor Garden wouldn't be complete without the kissing scene of Shancai and Hua Ze Lei. It was in this scene where Dao Ming Si and Hua Ze Lei got into an argument when the former caught them kissing.

One of the funny scenes in Meteor Garden was when Shancai was kidnapped and she ended up getting a facial.
While wearing a beautiful dress and high-heeled shoes, she was surprised to see herself inside a beautiful mansion. She later discovered that it was Dao Ming Si's house, and he had her kidnapped to give her a makeover.
Dao Ming Si then asked her if she can be his girlfriend and he will buy everything--even the Eiffel Tower--for her.
However, Shancai refused and threw her shoes at him!

Another remarkable scene in the 2001 version that was seen in the 2018 version was when Dao Ming Si ran to catch the bus Shancai was riding in.
In the 2001 version, Shancai decided to leave Dao Ming Si because of the request of his mother, Dao Ming Feng.
Dao Ming Si tried to stop Shancai by leaving and joining her suitor Ya-Men.
Unfortunately, he wasn't able to stop her so he desperately ran after the bus.
In the end, Shancai could not leave Dao Ming Si, so she went down the bus and returned to him.

The beach scene in Meteor Garden 2001's opening billboard was also reinterpreted in the remake.
In the original version, the F4 members played around while along the seashore.
In the new version, the boys were seen playing beach volleyball.
