Before Ryza Cenon became popular for her portrayal as Georgia in the GMA-7 afternoon series Ika-6 Na Utos, she used to be a regular performer in Kapuso variety programs.
One of these is the annual GMA New Year Countdown wherein Kapuso celebrities showcase their talents as they welcome another year.
On July 1, 2018, Angelika dela Cruz's Instagram fan page @angelikadelacruzgallery uploaded a throwback photo of Kapuso talents who were backstage during the 2010 New Year Countdown.
Seen in the photo are (L-R) Pauleen Luna, Angelika, Ryza, Chynna Ortaleza, Nadine Samonte, and Maxene Magalona.
All the girls in the photo used to be regular performers of the defunct GMA noontime variety show SOP.
Ryza was known back then as GMA's Bad Girl of the dance floor, and was considered as Mark Herras's female counterpart.
Currently, only Pauleen, Angelika, and Chynna have remained as Kapuso talents.
Maxene transferred to ABS-CBN in 2014, while Ryza just signed up with ABS-CBN in April 2018.
Meanwhile, Nadine occasionally does guest appearances in Kapamilya drama anthologies Maalaala Mo Kaya and Ipaglaban Mo.
