GMA Network recently launched its latest primetime show, Biritera, via a press conference held at the Studio 7 of GMA Network last January 27, 2012.
This primetime show is about an aspiring young singer, Roseanne, coincidentally portrayed by Roseanne Magan, who embarks on an emotional journey from being an amateur singer to becoming a famous biritera. She discovers many things about her roots, her past, and her real identity.
"Biritera" is a Tagalog slang for a singer who "belts" and who utilizes a very wide vocal range. This type of talent shall be showcased as the story of Biritera unfolds.
