The Hows of Us, starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, has earned almost half a billion in the Philippine box office.
The Kathniel movie was able to reach the P500 million mark as of September 9, according to producer Star Cinema.
Through its social media accounts, ABS-CBN's film production arm disclosed that The Hows of Us was able to gross P505,672,777.80 in a span of 12 days.
The Hows of Us depicts the story of Primo (Daniel Padilla) and George (Kathryn Bernardo), a couple who are in a long-term relationship, building, and planning their future together.
They navigate the hows and whys of their relationship, trying to figure out if staying together is worth the fights and the struggles.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, this romance drama is Graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
In a previous interview with Daniel, he pointed out that the intimate scenes they shot for the movie were needed in the story.
“Marami ba [kissing scenes sa movie]?
“Hindi naman,” said Daniel when he was interviewed by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the cast party of the movie held at Ringo restaurant in Greenhills recently.
“I think pasok sa eksena, e. So, alam mo yun?
“Yun lang. I think hindi naman mahalay.
“Sa aming dalawa lang yun, para lang sa pelikula. Pero hindi naman ibig sabihin, puro ganun na po lahat [ng susunod na mga pelikula namin].
“It’s just that pasok lang talaga sa istorya."
