Janno Gibbs is set to do an album with ABS-CBN's recording label, Star Music.
The 48-year-old singer signed a recording contract yesterday, September 13, which he announced on his Instagram account.
He wrote, "Thank you so much @starmusicph for the warm welcome!"
This is the first time that Janno will do an album under Star Music.
In the past, Janno's albums were produced by VIVA Records and GMA Records, the music arm of his former mother station.
His last album titled Nagbabalik, which was released in January 2018, was also produced by GMA Records.
His comeback album with GMA Records came three years after Janno left GMA-7 and transferred to TV5.
Janno has yet to sign an exclusive contract with the Kapamilya network.
In 2017, Janno appeared in some ABS-CBN shows such as It's Showtime, FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, and The Voice Teens.
Back then, Janno continued to do guest appearances in GMA-7 shows such as Meant To Be and Sunday PINASaya.
