Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's movie The Hows of Us has reached the P600 million mark.
According to an Instagram post of Star Cinema, the KathNiel movie has already earned a domestic gross of P601,152,867.12 as of 5 p.m. yesterday, September 17.
It is the first Philippine-produced movie to reach the P600 million mark domestically.
The Hows of Us has also overtaken the total domestic gross of Vice Ganda's Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad, which was previously touted as the highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
The Vice Ganda movie, which was an entry to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival, earned a domestic gross of P571 million.
Star Cinema has also yet to announce to worldwide gross of The Hows of Us.
Its international screenings started last September 7 when it was shown in Malaysia, Saipan, Australia, Canada, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Brunei, Papua New Guinea, and United Arab Emirates.
The Hows of Us, which opened in Philippine cinemas last August 29, is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
It is graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
