Members of the Korean all-girl group Momoland are open to doing more projects and collaborations in the Philippines.
They made the announcement during a presscon held at The New Frontier Theater, Cubao on January 24, 2019.
When asked if they wanted to return to the country and do more projects, they unanimously said, “Yes! Of course.”
Nancy, Yeonwoo, Ahin, Jane, Taeha, Nayun, Daisy and JooE were all present during the event. However, Hyebin was unable to join them during this visit to Manila.
Momoland will hold its first fan meet at the Araneta Coliseum this Friday, January 25.
However, the girls were a bit worried because they don’t speak Tagalog.
The K-pop group arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) past 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 24.
This is the third time that the group visited the Philippines.
The members said that it feels good to be back and they felt happy about seeing their Filipino fans once again.
Nancy said, “Well, it’s really exciting that we finally get to do our fan meet and meet our fans.
“We’re really excited, so we prepared a lot of special stages."
The performers teased fans about the things that are in store for them at the fan meet.
Ahin pointed out, “Well, we do have a surprise. But apparently it is a surprise so we can’t really say it right now.
“So if you guys come to our meeting, you guys can check it out.”
The girls disclosed that there are certain Filipino dishes that they would want to try here.
Daisy candidly admitted, “Actually there’s something I want to try. It’s called halo-halo.”
The other members added that they would like to try bibingka and eat in Jollibee.
The Momoland members cited Boracay, Cebu, and Palawan as tourist spots that they would want to visit in the Philippines.
