Dumayo ang GMA-7 TV host and comedian na si Joey de Leon sa unang istasyong nagbigay sa kanya ng break—ang IBC (Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation) 13.
Sa Facebook post ng IBC TV 13 page ngayong hapon, January 30, inanunsiyo dito ang pagbisita ni Joey sa Broadcast City Complex, sa may Capitol Hills, Quezon City kung saan nakabase ang government-owned TV station.
Saad sa post, “TV icon Joey De Leon visits IBC 13 and reminisces the good old days with the network. #iconic #bold #chill #ibc13 #channel13 #todas.”
Ibinahagi din ito ni Kat de Castro sa kanyang Facebook account. Sabi niya, “THE JOEY DE LEON DROPPED BY OUR OFFICE TODAY.”
Si Kat ay isa sa mga miyembro ng board of directors ng istasyon.
Si Joey ay nagkaroon ng mga shows sa IBC noon katulad na lamang ng Iskul Bukol (1977), T.O.D.A.S. o Television’s Outrageous Delightful All-star Show (1978-1989), TVJ (1990), at Back To Iskul Bukol (1999-2000).
