On April 21, Kris Aquino debuted her new pixie bob haircut on her evening talk show Aquino & Abunda Tonight.
On the same day, she posted on Instagram a quote from fashion icon Coco Chanel: "A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life."
She also adds in her caption: "I cut off more than a foot, so I'm super ready for my life change!"
During her show, Kris hinted that she might be going through a rough patch in her relationship with Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, which prompted her to cut her hair.
"Ayaw ko na ng heartache, iyon lang," she tells her co-host Boy Abunda.
Whether this new look says something about the status of her lovelife, Kris has definitely made a statement—a style statement, that is—with her new haircut.
