Hindi katulad dati, noong nag-uupisa kami sa Aalog-Alog ay nagkakapaan pa kami," describes Zanjoe Marudo (middle) about his reunion with fellow actors John Prats (right) and Jayson Gainza (left) for comedyserye Parekoy.

Aalog-alog's comedy trio John Prats, Zanjoe Marudo and Jayson Gainza work together again to bring laughter to every household every afternoon, from Monday to Friday.

After months of waiting, the trio will finally be seen again on television through ABS-CBN's first comedyserye titled Parekoy.

In an interview during the press conference of the said show, Jayson explained the reason of the delay in airing of Parekoy's, which was announced during the first half of 2008.

Di ba, may Utoy, The Wedding, Eva Fonda, Tayong Dalawa, 'tapos yung Pieta," he said.

Then, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate added, "Schedule din kasi si [John] may ginagawang Tiny Tony, si Zanjoe The Wedding at saka Dyosa. Ako naman, Betty La Fea at saka Trip na Trip. 'Tapos si Direk Randy [Santiago], panay ang TFC [shows] niya."

Despite the long delay, the three actors waited patiently for this project because it's an opportunity for them to work with each other again after Aalog-Alog (2006).

Zanjoe Marudo says that he misses doing a sitcom especially now that he is often given more serious roles.

In a separate interview, the young actor related that how much he liked doing a comedy show. He said, "Ito naman talaga ang pinakauna kong...

With their reunion for Parekoy, were there any changes in their working relationship?

Meanwhile, John described that their characters in Parekoy has become a little more serious than that of Aalog-Alog.

"Siguro ngayon, mas seryosong gago, 'yon ang term ni Direk Randy [Santiago]," John said smiling. "Sa Aalog-alog, para lang kaming naglalaro. This time, mas seryoso kaming nagpapatawa, mas wala kayong makikitang tumatawa kami every scene. Nakakatawa 'yong eksena pero mas seryoso naming ginagawa 'yong nakakatawang eksena.

"'Yon ang ginagawa naming approach doon sa show, which is bago and at the same time, hindi kami studio, so mas labas kami. And mas pressure kasi araw-araw nagpapatawa kami."

Zanjoe also admitted that it's harder for them to do the comedyserye Parekoy compared to their former sitcom. He explained, "Medyo kasi mas nasanay kami sa sitcom, e.

Despite this, the trio were glad to have given the chance to give entertainment to Pinoy televiewers more often.

In fact, Zanjoe noted in the end, "Maganda nga na araw-araw na siya at saka after ng Wowowee.

Parekoy airs weekdays on ABS-CBN right after Wowowee.
