Sunshine Dizon (upper left frame) plays a female doctor named Louella who aims to help the blind sister of Robin Padilla named Isabel (played by Rhian Ramos, lower left frame). Gary (Robin) will have to figure out how to stop the malevolent ghost of Sundo (right) in this horror film of GMA Films.

A few hours before the premiere night of Sundo at SM Megamall, PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was informed that the upcoming horror film of GMA Films has received a PG 13 rating from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board.

This will allow families with children 13 years old and above to watch the film together when it opens in cinemas nationwide starting tomorrow, March 18.

Directed by Topel Lee, Sundo revolves around Gary (Robin Padilla), an ex-military man whose third eye is opened when he wakes up from a coma. With this gift, he is able to see the "sundo" or ghosts that will pick up people about to encounter sudden, disastrous deaths.

Gary and his companions escape death during a road accident but they must fend off the spirit of tragedy or else they will meet the same harrowing fate of the previous victims.

Will the former soldier be able to find the missing link of the puzzle and save the rest of the passengers before it's too late? (Click HERE to read the full synopsis of Sundo.)

Having a so-called third eye allows certain people to see supernatural creatures that would otherwise remain unseen by humans. Robin explains that unknown to many, we all have this third eye but most of us choose not to use this gift.

Has Robin been able to see supernatural beings while shooting this film?

Robin is known for his death-defying stunts but has he already thought about his mortality? Is he ready to face death when his time is already up?

Since the theme of the movie Sundo also tackles the concept of the other world, the cast members were asked about their ideas on the afterlife.

Sunshine Dizon, who plays Louella (a doctor who is a friend of Robin and Rhian Ramos in the film) believes that whether or not there is an afterlife, she has no regrets about the way she lived her life.

"I do believe that there is life after life. Siguro a much better version of the life that you lived—that's what I'm hoping. Kung nagkataon na wala namang next life, pwede na rin kasi I could say that I've lived a full life."

Rhian Ramos (who plays the blind sister of Robin named Isabel) believes in the Christian concept of heaven and hell. "Naniniwala ako na may heaven and hell dahil Kristiyano ako at yun yung nasa Bible. "

Mark Bautista (who is cast in the film as Robin's driver named Baste) also echoes the sentiments of Rhian. "As a Christian, I've always believed in life after life. You always believe that in death, you will be with God."

Sundo will be shown in cinemas nationwide starting tomorrow, March 18, 2009.
