Jake Cuenca exposes his romantic side as Elias Paniki

With its rating of 28.1% for its pilot episode, Agimat presents Elias Paniki toppled its rival program (11.4%) on its pilot episode last Saturday, May 29. This was based on the national ratings data provided by Taylor Nelson Sofres.


Lead star Jake Cuenca couldn't be happier about this early feat but also nervous as his character, Elias, will finally be introduced this Saturday, June 5, on the second episode of the series. "Napa-wow talaga ko nung nalaman ko na ganun kataas yung rating ng Elias pero kabado din kasi this Saturday pa lang ako lalabas as Elias, sana ganun pa din yung pagtanggap ng viewers sa 'kin," Jake shared in an interview.


Jake also revealed that his Agimat series is different from those starred by Coco Martin, Gerald Anderson and Jolo Revilla because its fight scenes are more authentic and the story is more romantic, "kung ang mga naunang series more on fight scenes, love and romance naman ang highlight sa Elias Paniki."
