During the previous performance night of American Idol Season 8, Megan
Joy sang Bob Marley's "Turn Your Lights Down Low." However, the judges were not
happy with Megan's performance. This was to be her last as
an American Idol finalist. "I love you Simon, but I don't care," said
the tattoed 23-year-old bet from Utah, who got the fewest of
America's 36 million votes.
Meanwhile,
on the next performance night, the top 8 finalists—Kris Allen, Anoop Desai,
Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta, Adam Lambert, Scott MacIntyre and
Lil Rounds—will take the stage to perform songs from the year they
were born. In addition, AI Season Five finalist Kellie Pickler returns to the IDOL
stage to perform her new single, "Best Days of Your Life."
American
Idol regularly airs on Q Channel 11 via satellite feed. Catch the weekend
replays on April 4, Saturday, 4:30 p.m. and April 5, Sunday, 5:00
p.m.
Then watch the performance of the remaining eight finalists on April
8, Wednesday, at 6:00 p.m. (same day replay at 8:30 p.m.).
However, the judgement day for American Idol's Top 8 will air on
sister station GMA on Holy Thursday, April 9, 6:00 p.m. (same
