Last Black Saturday, April 11, T2 started screening in cinemas nationwide as Star Cinema's summer movie for 2009.

T2 (short for Tenement 2) tells the story of Claire, a woman who tries to escape her marital problems by volunteering for an NGO that helps orphans find new homes. She meets a young girl named Angeli (played by Mika dela Cruz) who is being haunted by engkantos. Claire and Angeli are trapped in a tenement building as the engkantos close in on them. The supernatural beings tempt Angeli to stay in their beautiful palace but Claire has other plans for the young girl.
