"Intense action!" This is how Empress Schuck describes the upcoming episodes of Rosalka, which will extend its run on ABS-CBN for another 10 weeks.
She added: "May habulan na kami, may mga baril na, so iba na talaga 'yung Rosalka, intense na talaga s'ya pero habang may intensity na nangyayari, nand'yan naman si Jason [Felix Roco] at si Rosa na nagpapa-cute-cute-an."
PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was one of the few media invited to visit the set of Rosalka in Casa Pura in Quezon City yesterday, August 3. Empress was dressed as her character Rosa, a young lady with a deformed face and a hump on her back. One of her leading men, Felix Roco, was also there but her other love interest, Matt Evans, was not present last night.
The cast members of Rosalka have been shooting scenes for the teleserye for the past ten weeks and they are now preparing to shift from dramatic scenes to intense action. Empress says, "Nakaka-kaba na kasi hinahabol-habol na sila, hinahabol nila si Rosa, gusto na nilang patayin." The recent episode shows Rosa being chased by Wilfred's (Dominic Ochoa's character) goons.
The action-filled chase in the afternoon teleserye is all because of Rosa's resolve to find the real identity of her father's murderer. The plot thickens even further because of the evil creature that lives in Rosa's hunchback. Viewers will get to know more about Alka's character in the next episodes of the teleserye.
Rosa is confused about whom to choose between her best friend Aries (Matt Evans) and her longtime love Jason (Felix Roco). "[Ang kuwento iikot pa rin kina] Jason, Rosa and Aries. Kung sino ba yung mas matimbang sa puso ni Rosa ngayon, kung yung bestfriend ba niya o yung matagal na niyang mahal."
For his part, Felix admits that he had some difficulty shooting the action scenes in this TV series. "Yun nga din napansin ko lately, e, medyo nahihirapan din ako sa mga eksenang 'yan. Ang hirap kasi ng mga fight scenes."
