Have you decided on who to vote in today’s mid-term election?

You might want to consider these reminders from celebrities before selecting the senatorial candidates you will vote for today.

TV host-comedian Vice Ganda said he watched all the episodes of ABS-CBN’s election debate called Harapan 2013 to assess the senatorial candidates.

When asked what are the qualities he is looking for in a candidate, Vice replied, “‘Yong kinakikitaan ko ng pag-asa.

NO TO CORRUPT. Meanwhile, TV and movie director Jose Javier Reyes has posted some of his thoughts about the election on his personal Twitter account (@DirekJoey) days before the election.

Since Filipinos will be voting for 12 senators today, Direk Joey said, “A senator must be a do-er as much as a thinker & not merely one who has charisma in front of cameras or existing as a brand.”

He also reminded his Twitter followers, “Before voting for a re-electionist senator, the question to ask: what has this legislator accomplished in his term? AKSYON OR EPAL LAMANG?

“Before voting for a freshman senator, ask first: DOES HE/SHE HAVE THE STUFF TO BE A SENATOR? WHAT DOES HE/SHE STAND FOR? MAY PLANO BA SYA?”

He also pointed out, “Pag-corrupt, absolutely no way. There’s no way I’m gonna endorse.”

HAS THE “X FACTOR.” On the other hand, singer Christian Bautista said about choosing a candidate: “Mapili ako sa mga sinusuportahan.”

For the balladeer, a public official should be “educated, para sa bayan, track record, and malalaman mo kung honest sila, e.

He also encouraged all the Filipino voters to go out today and exercise their right to vote.

He also stressed in the end, “Vote wisely!”
