Athlete turned news correspondent Gretchen Malalad tells the story of two children who have dreams of becoming athletes in The Correspondents.

Para sa ibang mga bata, isang tradisyon na ang pagbili ng bagong pares ng sapatos kada simula ng pasukan sa eskuwela. Pero para sa ibang mga bata na hindi kasing swerte, ang tradisyon na ito ay isa lamang pangarap.

Sina Junjun at Aira ay dalawang batang mula General Santos City na nangangarap maging atleta ngunit wala man lang pambili ng sapatos pang-ensayo. Ngunit tulad ng tanyag na mananakbong si Rio dela Cruz, hindi nila naisip na hadlang ang kahirapan sa pagtupad sa kanilang mga pangarap.

Bukas, Martes, Agosto 24, ibabahagi ni Gretchen Malalad kung paano sila sumali at lumaban sa isang running marathon na namimigay ng libreng sapatos.Ang kanilang takbo patungong finish line ay naging simula rin ng kanilang mas masigasig na pag-abot sa pangarap.

Kilalanin pa sila kasama si Gretchen Malalad bukas sa The Correspondents pagkatapos ng Bandila sa ABS-CBN.
