Earlier this week on Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown, Sar Mayee and Nagar tribes had new members when the Magan tribe was dissolved. Elma Muros was transferred to Sar Mayee while Solenn Heusaff and Mico Aytona were both transferred to the Nagar tribe.
The two remaining tribes competed in the Reward Challenge. Sar Mayee won, allowing the members to relax through a Thai massage. This week's Immunity Challenge involved an obstacle course that required a lot of stamina and flexibility. Each team had to get a number of "puzzle" pieces that had to be formed one at a time. To get one puzzle piece, each member has to cross the area that would require a lot of rope swinging.
In the end, Sar Mayee won the Immunity Challenge, which meant the Nagar tribe had a Tribal Council for the first time.
Last night, September 30, host Richard Gutierrez asked feedback from the tribe mates on the new composition of Nagar.
Tribe leader Ahron Villena said, "Natutuwa meron kaming ibang nakasamang tribo....new friends and new bonding. Magaan sa loob ang lahat."
Moi Marcampo pointed out, "Masaya silang kasama. Tapos, yung bonding namin, maganda sa ngayon."
Karen Delos Reyes stated, "Masaya kami. Hindi ko sinasabi na hindi ako masaya sa Sar Mayee. Masaya. Isang araw pa lang kami magkakasama lahat pero nag-click kaming lahat."
Richard asked Mico and Solenn for their reaction on being part of a new tribe.
Solenn remarked, "It's a good experience and everything. Of course, in the beginning, we were a bit scared...I miss Magan [tribe] of course, but I'm happy right now where I am."
For his part, Mico expressed his optimism regarding this development. "Para sa akin, panibagong pag-asa para sa amin ni Solenn...wala kaming masamang tinapay sa bawat isa...Wala kaming kinakaasaraan kaya maganda ang pagsasama namin.
Richard pointed out that both of them, Mico and Solenn, have perfect attendance in the past Tribal Councils. He asked: "Sanay na kayong umilag sa pagkakatanggal?"
Mico mentioned, "Palagay ko, di ko masasabi ...Handa kami sa mga mangyayari kung kami mavo-vote out or hindi. Para sa amin ni Solenn...mas gagalingan namin...para maging successful kami."
The host asked Ahron why he picked Moi to be part of the Nagar tribe.
"Flexible si Moi sa lahat ng bagay. Magluto. Kahit mag-ayos ng shelter namin. Magsibak ng kahoy, kumuha ng pagkain. Lahat parang kaya niyang gawin..." was the explanation of Ahron.
Ahron was also asked if he and Moi already has established an "alliance." He observed "So far wala pa naman.... Lahat napapansin kahit sa dati naming tribe...naging close kami ni Moi."
ALLIANCES WITHIN THE TRIBE? Are there new alliances being formed?
Aira Bermudez said, "For me kasi like si Karen, di ko masasabing [ka] alliance ko siya. We started kasi sa Sar Mayee...may bonding na nabuo. Maintain lang na naadyan siya. Friends kami."
Ian Batherson commented, "Para sa akin, of course, mas close kami sa dating katribo. Pero you'll never know what will happen... it's too early to tell. Mas comportable ka sa dating tribo."
Is friendship more important than alliances in this kind of game?
Moi replied, "Mag start muna sa friends. Tapos pag nakuha mo na ang loob nila, automatic na, kakampi mo na sila..."
Do they dislike any tribe member's habits or personality? Karen simply said "...wala pa. Simula pa na nagstart ng Survivor, tre-neat ko ang lahat ng friends talaga."
The spotlight was placed on Ahron again when Richard shared his observation that the actor dubbed as "Ang Bolero" seemed "hesitant" to be the tribe leader.
Ahron explained, "Di lang ako sanay maging leader. Even sa school namin dati, ayaw kong magprisinta na maging leader. Feeling ko, sa akin lahat ibabato ang sisi."
And when asked who among the tribe members would make a good leader, he said, "Siguro si Moi. Pwede si Moi. Hindi [dahil] kaibigan ko siya. She is very flexible sa lahat ng bagay."
Moi was asked if she was the reason why the team lost? She admitted that she was the reason why their tribe lost. "Sorry guys. Kasi parang naisip ko kasi na kaya ko. Yung nandoon na ako, parang ang hirap pala."
After the discussion, the tribe members of Nagar were asked to cast their votes.
The names of Ian, Karen and Moi were called out. Karen garnered a total of four votes, Ian had three votes and Moi had one vote. The actress dubbed as the "Taray Queen" became the fourth castaway to be out of the game.
Karen felt that the reality show made a big impact on her life. "Sobrang milestone 'to sa buhay ko. I will never forget Survivor. God bless you guys. Rock 'n Roll!"
