Aubrey Miles appeared on the June 21 episode of Showbiz Central's Gimme Mo to face the controversies surrounding her and partner Troy Montero. Last April, Aubrey admitted that she had a love child with former GMA-7 talent JP Obligacion. The actress became controversial for hiding the fact that she already had a
child prior to meeting Troy.
Mo Twister, the segment's host, started off by complimenting Aubrey as she indeed looked stunning even after giving birth. That said, he proceeded to ask, "Sabi n'yo ni Troy Montero that you really excited to have this family. Ngayon, may anak na kayo. May plano na ba kayo magpakasal?"
"Mayroon din plans naman," said Aubrey. "But not anytime soon. We're having fun and we're sobrang busy every day. Hindi lang 24 hours so hindi ka na makatulog. So, parang busy everyday so parang hindi pa naming naiisip."
So, when it comes to the wedding plans, who gets pressured
the most?
Aubrey smiled and said, "Wala. Parang happy happy lang."
The next question was related with Aubrey's career as
actress, which of course, involved showing of skin like her movies Prosti and Xerex. Now, when her kids get older, what would she tell them?
"Alam naman ng tao na image ko, sexy," started Aubrey. Then after a pause, she continued, "Hindi naman siya malaswa o ganito. Masaya naman ako sa ginawa ko dahil may purpose yung mga ginawa ko ang noong time na iyon, I had to do it. Siyempre, nasa sarili ko din, e. Hindi naman ako nag huhubad sa totoong buhay. It's just work."
If ever her son's
friends ask him about his mom's career, Aubrey would just tell him to ignore
such questions. "If ever, hindi ko naman ikinakahiya ang trabaho ko so sana
maintindihan niya din pagtanda niya na kaya niya iexplain ng magandang way
kung ano naging trabaho ko noon."
THE BIG ISSUE. The big issue with Aubrey right now is the one about her hiding the information about her 8-year old son with ex-boyfriend with JP Obligacion. Years of speculation ended when Aubrey admitted recently that she indeed had a son. Now why did she wait all these years just to admit it?
"Alam naman na dito
na dapat fresh ka," explained Aubrey. "I had to do it na ayoko mag-alaga lang
ng anak. I had to do something for my life na kailangan kong pagtrabahunan—ayoko
humingi sa nanay ko, e. I'm independent so I decided na gagawin ko ito para sa
anak ko. I'll do everything for my children."
So, was the denial of having a son a career move?
"Wala na akong further explanation pa," said Aubrey. "Bago ako mag-start talagang promise ko sa sarili ko na I will give myself six to seven years and then, this is my sixth almost seventh sa showbiz so my time talaga na hindi ko siya forever maidedeny."
"I'm so sorry if I had to deny it," Aubrey said. "I'm so
sorry and sana maintindihan ako ng mga tao."
Some people are saying now that Aubrey's revelation about
her giving birth to her son with Troy is another career move. Is this true?
After a short pause, Aubrey answered, "No. Kasi bago ko pa
lang aminin talagang this is it. Mawawala na career o nandiyan pa, e, that's it.
Aaminin ko na kasi marami nang nagtatanong. Hindi siya career move. I'm happy
and comfortable with my life. I'm okay."
