SIS celebrates 8th anniversary on GMA-7

The country's longest-running talk-variety show, SIS, reaffirms its position as viewers' most preferred morning talk show as it continues to dominate TV ratings in Mega Manila, according to data from AGB Nielsen.

Now on its eight year, SIS has consistently beaten eight ABS-CBN shows pitted against it over the years including Talk TV, Morning Girls, Good Morning Kris, Morning Star, MRS: Most Requested Show, Home Boy, Boy & Kris and at present, Ruffa and Ai.

For the past three months, SIS has dominated TV ratings in Mega Manila. According to data from AGB Nielsen Philippines, SIS got an average rating of 9.5% against Ruffa and Ai's 5.4% in April, or a 4.1% lead against its rival. Likewise in May and June, SIS edged its competitor with a 5.2% and 4.8% lead, respectively.

Making each weekday morning doubly exciting and amusing are the show's three vibrant and loveable hosts: Janice de Belen, Gelli de Belen and Carmina Villaroel. The trio's witty remarks, charisma, strong partnership and rapport with the audience have become the show's winning formula. The sister's bond remains strong throughout the years.

The show'creative team continues to offer viewers new segments and gimmicks that aim to surprise, educate, and entertain.

This August, a lot more surprises are in store for loyal viewers as SIS celebrates its eight-year anniversary and the grand birthday celebration of Carmina, whose actual natal day is on August 17.
