PRESS STATEMENT FROM Q CHANNEL 11:
"Three exciting and mouthwatering offerings from three related stories are in store for the viewers this Wednesday (January 5) on Q Channel 11's Sarap at Home!
"First is the San Marino Tuna Paella which host Sam Oh features on the show as is. Thanks to the special advertising skills of a kid played by Julian Trono, Sam gets herself convinced by the swimming lessons he is offering and so she enrolls. Sam reports to class on the first day and is surprised to find out that the lifeguard in the condominium where she lives—Ervic Vijandre—is also the swimming instructor! At the end of the day, Sam discovers that Ervic is Julian's father and that he is a single dad!
"Meanwhile, Julian is about to go to a field trip, but unlike other kids who are always excited to go on a trip, Sam finds him sad. Julian doesn't have any baon to bring with him. So Tita Sam solves his problem and prepares a special snack to cheer him up—a burger sandwich made with Mexican CDO Ulam Burger Crispy Patties. But when Julian goes back to the school van and waits for the other kids, he discovers that he misheard the field trip date. It's still one day away!
"Sam's friend, Jana Dominguez, calls for help. Jana says she has a get-together with her college friends in an hour and she doesn't have anything prepared! The ever helpful BFF, Sam comes to Jana's rescue and helps her prepare a nice meal of 'Eggplant with San Marino Corned Tuna and Basil.' Sam notices however that the supposed get-together is rather intimate, with candles and all. Jana says that's just in case the electricity goes out. But a revelation happens when the doorbell rings and Sam finds the cute lifeguard, Ervic, by the door. It isn't a friends' get-together that is about to take place after all!
"Sarap at Home airs on weekdays at 10:10 am, 11:30 am, and 6:20 pm; Saturdays at 1:55 pm, 5:30 pm, and 6:55 pm; and Sundays at 11:30 am, 5:30 pm, and 7:40 pm only on Q Channel 11!"
