Last week, Marian Rivera received a sweet gift from Dingdong
Dantes: his presence at her birthday party even though he was tired from a
rehearsal earlier that night. During this event, Dingdong and Marian were
photographed as they looked like a couple very much in love. (Click HERE to read related article.)
During the premiere of Tarot last night, August 24, at SM Megamall, PEP
(Philippine Entertainment Portal) was able to ask Marian regarding the said
pictures.
"Siguro nasa lugar naman kung bakit nangyari ang mga pangyayaring iyon. Bilang
birthday ko yun at wala kaming ginagawang masama," says Marian.
"Hindi kami nagde deny at wala kaming sinasabi. What you see is what you get.
Ganun na lang siguro."
Nelson Canlas of GMA News commented that Marian looks very much in love. To
this, Marian simply replied, "Thank you!"
The reporter then said that Dingdong looks very much in love with her as well.
Marian quipped: "Why not?"
Will they be announcing their relationship any time soon? "Wala na siguro kasi
ang importante, kaming dalawa ang nagkakaintidihan sa mga bagay-bagay."
Does she consider Dingdong to be her partner? "Partner sa lahat ng bagay," she
said with a sweet smile.
Is Dingdong her boyfriend already? "Wag na ganun. Basta happy kami."
What is keeping her from announcing the true status of their relationship?
"Wala namang pumipigil sa amin pero mas pinili namin na maging tahimik na lang
sa mga pangyayari. Bilang artista kami, lahat sobrang public na. So itong time
na ito, kung anong meron kami, sa amin na lang yun. Basta happy kami."
GRADE A FILM. Marian has another reason to smile about because PEP just
found out that the Jun Lana film Tarot has been graded A by the Cinema
Evaluation Board.
Marian arrived early that night while her onscreen partner Dennis Trillo
arrived midway during the movie since he came from a taping of his GMA-7 TV
series Adik Sa‘Yo.
Roxanne Guinoo, another major character of the film, was unable to attend that
night because she had a taping for Everybody Hapi, her sitcom on TV5.
The actress is cast as Faye, a friend of Cara (Marian) who betrayed her trust.
Also present that night were other supporting cast members Alwyn Uytingco and
Niña Jose. Are You the Next Big Star runner-up Alex Castro also lent his
support for the horror film.
In the film Tarot, Cara (Marian Rivera) has the ability to predict the
future using a set of Tarot cards that she got from her grandmother (played by
Gloria Romero). Unfortunately, using the deck of cards entails grave
consequences that affect her and her loved ones.
When her fiancé Miguel (Dennis Trillo) goes missing, Cara uses her gift but
little did she know that it would lead to a series of catastrophes in her
family.
Find out how Cara and Miguel will break the curse of the haunted Tarot cards.
Tarot is rated PG-13 by the Movie and Television Review and
Classification Board. Since it is graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board, the
producers are entitled to a 100-percent rebate
on amusement taxes.
This horror film produced by Regal Entertainment will open in
cinemas nationwide (including SM cinemas) starting tomorrow, August 26.
