Gina Alajar plays a caregiver in MMK

The final offering for the 18th anniversary special of Maalaala Mo Kaya, together with TFC on its 15th anniversary, features veteran actress Gina Alajar on Saturday, August 29.

Gina plays the role of Grace whose life in the U.S. changes completely when she becomes the caregiver of Milly, a victim of Parkinson's disease, and they form a friendship that eventually becomes integral to their lives.

Grace's daughter Joan (Megan Young) feels alienated by their long separation. Will mother and daughter become close again?

The August 29 episode of MMK is directed by Dado Lumibao and written by Arah Jell Badayos. Also in the cast are Ilonah Jean, Lynn Waters and Rey Kilay.
