Ace comedian Vic Sotto is set to give audiences a fantastic laugh this Sunday, May 23, with Kapuso Movie Festival's television premiere of Fantastic Man.
Directed by Tony Reyes, this 2003 Metro Manila Film Festival top grosser will send the whole family laughing because of Vic Sotto's charismatic comic style and the fight scenes' riotously designed special effects.
Bossing Vic plays the role of Fredo, a klutzy laboratory assistant-cum-guinea pig of robotics professor Manalo, played by esteemed comedian Michael V. His lowly life changes when his superhero-wannabe girlfriend Helen, played by Ara Mina convinced him and the avaricious professor to uncover a magical orb hidden in the Intramuros ruins.
The simple quest turned dangerously complicated when Helen was kidnapped and possessed by the evil Diabolika. Hope sprang however when Fredo accidentally touched the orb, which in turn, transformed him into Fantastic Man.
With the power of speed and body-shaping complete with a flashy purple and yellow suit, can Fantastic Man bring the love of his life back? How will the comical hero fight Diabolika without killing Helen inside?
