Taal Volcano is considered the "smallest volcano in the world." It's also one of the most active, having erupted 32 times since 1572. The volcano is surrounded by Taal Lake, a seemingly placid body of water that has quite an eerie history.
It seems that every year, someone drowns in Taal Lake. Most of the victims are tourists or outsiders. Residents in the area believe that there is something in the water, a mysterious element that causes the drowning incidents.
Misteryo attempts to find out what is causing the tragedies in Taal Lake. Helping the Misteryo team are two of the leading paranormal experts in the country: Rob Rubin, who is known for using different gadgets to determine paranormal activity, and Alex Angeles, an "old school" paranormal expert who uses traditional methods. Who will be able to provide the best explanation for the mystery in Taal Lake--the techie or the old school paranormal expert?
As the team began the investigation, Taal Volcano suddenly became active again and alert level 2 was raised in the area. Were the elements in Taal Lake agitated by the team's investigation? Can they find the culprit behind the drowning incidents in the lake?
Don't miss Misteryo this Sunday, 10pm, on Q Channel 11.
