Nag-react si 2011 Miss World 1st runner-up Gwendolyn Ruais sa kanyang pagkakatanggal sa Asia's Next Top Model (ANTM) Season 4, sa episode nito noong March 30.
Natanggal si Gwendolyn matapos makakuha ng pinakamababang score at isa sa mga kritisismo sa kanya ay ang pagiging “pageant girl” na maitururing na disadvantage sa reality-based model search.
Kaya naman sa kanyang post kamakailan, ipinagtanggol ng beauty queen ang sarili mula sa puna sa kanya ng mga hurado.
“Yes I AM a beauty queen. And I'm very proud of it!
“And no one can change me, they just have to accept that,” status ng 25-year-old na modelo.
Gayunpaman, sinabi niyang pangarap niya mula pa noong bata siya ang makapasok sa AsNTM kaya wala siyang pinagsisisihan.
“But #AmericasNextTopModel was on my#BucketList since I was a kid so I have no regrets & I'm so happy I came out of this still being myself.”
May mensahe rin siya sa mga hurado.
“As for the judges of #AsNTM4 always taking that against me & only having that same thing to say, I know you've all been angry about it week after week, but I have no comment guys.”
“Just keep in mind that it is a SHOW?”
Binanggit din ni Gwendolyn ang masasayang karanasan niya sa show at ang bonding sa kapwa mga contestants.
