After Kris Aquino's farewell on The Buzz last Sunday, June 27, the TV host will also bid farewell to her primetime series Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo. The ABS-CBN show will air its final episode next Friday, July 10.
Kris announced several weeks ago that for the duration of Noynoy Aquino's presidency, she will leave the TV shows that could cause controversy for her brother. As for her primetime series, which is set to conclude on July 10, Kris already feels nostalgic about her KTM taping days.
During an interview, she shared, "Mamimiss ko talaga yung bonding namin ng buong cast sa set. We've grown close with each other kasi ang tagal talaga naming magkakasama sa set. It's an experience that I would carry throughout my lifetime. The lessons I got from our directors, co-stars, and staff are priceless."
The TV host-actress also added that even her son, Baby James, has learned a lot from his experience in this TV show. "Comfortable na talaga siya in front of the camera. Siyempre, proud mommy ako."
Now that she has turned her back on hosting celebrity talk shows and has admitted the real score with husband James Yap, Kris is indeed bound to enter a new phase in her life.
As Kris moves on into a new chapter in her life, her character Celine in Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo also embarks on an unknown journey as a whole new situation faces her and her family. What does one have to give up in order to achieve a simple and less complicated life?
In the previous episodes of KTM, Celine's husband Frank (Albert Martinez) was shot and killed during an operation. How is his family coping with their tragic loss?
The final week of Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo will present events that only transpired in a span of one day. Every hour counts. KTM airs weeknights on ABS-CBN, after Agua Bendita.
