Bea Alonzo feels flattered upon knowing that Vice President Leni Robredo is a fan of hers.
During the How To Be Yours bloggers' conference held earlier today, July 28, at ABS-CBN's 9501 Restaurant, the 28-year-old actress said that she is very honored with the Vice President's presence during the premiere night of her new movie last July 26.
She said, “Ako nga rin, sobrang fan niya. I mean, parang sobra akong honored.
“Parang she came siyempre para sa sister ni Direk Dan [Villegas].
“First time ko nagkaroon ng premiere night na pinuntahan ng Vice President, di ba? Ilalagay ko na yun sa bucket list ko!
“I'm also a fan of hers, her strength, her intelligence, her grace.
“Sabi ko nga sa Instagram ko, 'How to be you po? Very honored ako!'”
However, Bea said that she wasn't able to speak to VP Leni after the screening.
“Hindi pa, kasi I think she had to go right away. Siyempre may trabaho siya, di ba?
“Buti napagbigyan nga [niya] kami ng isa't kalahating oras.
“And nakakatuwa, isa siya sa mga unang guests na nagpunta doon. Nakakabilib na on-time talaga siya.”
VP Leni admitted that she is a fan of Bea during an interview in ABS-CBN's news program TV Patrol yesterday, July 27.
Asked about her presence during the premiere night, VP Leni said, "I went there kasi yung sister ni Dan is with me sa office.
“E, kami, fan kami ng Filipino movies. Fan ako ni Bea, e.
“Halos lahat ng films niya pinapanood kong talaga.”
