Get ready to feel the Asianovela fever once more as ABS-CBN premieres the idol drama He's Beautiful this Monday (August 16).
He's Beautiful features one of Korea's most sought after star today, singer-actress-model Park Shin Hye, as well as the newest heartthrobs in town which includes multi-awarded young actor Jang Geun Suk, Korean band C.N. Blue's vocalist Jung Yong Hwa; and FTIsland's frontman Lee Hong Ki, who recently visited the Philippine for a promotional tour.
Follow the story of nun-to-be Go Mi Nyu (Shin Hye), who must abandon her life in the convent to live the life of her identical twin brother Go Mi Nam who was chosen to be the new member of popular boyband A.N.Jell. Growing up in an orphanage, both Mi Nam and Mi Nyu never get to meet their biological mother. Thus, the latter agreed to do the switch and use her newfound fame as a key to reunite their family.
But things wouldn't be that easy for Mi Nyu (now Mi Nam) because before she can reach her goal, she must first learn how to deal with her individually unique bandmates: the childish and loud Jeremy (Hong Ki), the reserved and romantic Shin Woo (Yong Hwa), and the arrogant and stubborn leader of the band Tae Kyung (Geun Suk).
As if keeping her identity a secret isn't that much of a problem, Mi Nam must face an even bigger dilemma as all three of her bandmates start to fall in love with her.
Will the boys find out that he is actually a she? To whom will Mi Nam share a beautiful romance with?
