Actor/comedian Dennis Padilla is among the four new board members of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
He had his oath-taking with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte last Thursday, June 1, at Malacañang Palace.
Also inducted to office were the other new MTRCB appointees: character actresses Gloria Sevilla and Teresita Villarama, and former Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 juror Carmen Musngi.
On Instagram, Dennis uploaded their photo and thanked the president for giving him the trust and confidence to take on his new responsibilities.
The 55-year-old actor and father of teen star Julia Barretto wrote, "Mr. president... salamat sa tiwala... mtrcb board member."
Aside from Dennis, other celebrities who have been appointed as MTRCB board members include Gladys Reyes, veteran actor Robert Arevalo, and singer Luke Mejares.
