Coco Martin addressed rumors surrounding the exit of Onyok from the primetime series, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, headlined by Coco.
The child star, whose real name is Xymon Ezekiel Pineda, bid farewell in the May 26 episode of the ABS-CBN teleserye.
When PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Coco if his relationship with the mother of Onyok was all right, he quickly answered, "Sobra! Sobra!"
There were rumors that the mother of Onyok had made demands regarding her son's cut-off time for taping, which is said to be the reason why the popular Onyok would no longer be part of Ang Probinsyano Book 2.
She supposedly said: "Uuwi na anak ko, cut-off time na! May pasok pa 'yan sa school."
Addressing this, Coco said, "Hindi naman po.
Coco had a different explanation for Onyok's departure from the teleserye.
According to Coco, ever since Onyok became part of Ang Probinsyano, major changes have occurred in the young boy's life.
"Gusto niya talaga mag-aral.
