Former actor and Pinoy Big Brother housemate Jon Avila is now engaged to Heidi Riego, a model, who also used to be an aspiring star at ABS-CBN.
The couple shared the momentous event of their life via social media, dated November 26, 2017.
Jon, 32, made his proposal memorable when he popped the question to Heidi at the Castle of Versailles during their trip to Paris, France.
On his Instagram, Jon posted a photo of himself with his lovely fiancée showing her diamond ring.
His caption read: “Gave her the fairytale she deserves…”
Jon is a Filipino-Irish model who was once a housemate in PBB Celebrity Edition 2 (2007).
This became his ticket to showbiz, where he would be handled by Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent management arm.
He went on to have TV and movie projects.
In 2008, he played the title role in the weekend fantasy series Komiks Presents: Kapitan Boom.
Meanwhile, Heidi was part of Star Magic Batch 16, the same batch of Enrique Gil, Guji Lorenzana, and Erika Padilla.
Among the TV shows that Heidi became part of were Boystown (2009), Imortal (2010), and Good Vibes (2011).
