Kris Aquino, 47, hinted that she and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, 50, are close enough for him not to be surprised when she turned up at his 50th birthday celebration with his high school friends last May 23.
But when asked to share details about their meeting that night, Kris said that all she can say is that they're good friends.
"Totoo, e. Kasi whatever I posted there, that's the truth, that was it.
"And I think I've already shared more than enough kasi yung... I've learned from life that if you want less people giving an opinion, say less."
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other entertainment reporters interviewed Kris after the media launch of her make-up line, the Ever Bilena Kris Life Kits, held at the La Vita restaurant in Pasay City, earlier today, May 31.
Kris was referring to her Instagram post last May 24 when she wrote about her and Mayor Herbert having a "100 percent true friend" in each other.
It was also in the same post when she said that they've both chosen to prioritize their children over anything else.
But it seems that Kris is not totally closing her doors to love, with the way she keeps smiling when the subject about her love life's current status was brought up.
In the continuation of her latest interview, Kris explained, "I promised myself hindi ko pag-uusapan so I won't jinx it."
Noting how she's not her typically-talkative self this time around, she added, "I've changed."
