Actor-director Badji Mortiz expressed his gratitude to his kidney donor after his successful operation last July 2.
In his Instagram post last Friday, July 6, Badji showed a photo of himself sitting on his hospital bed with his kidney donor standing beside him.
Badji's caption read: "Special thanks to this man..who donated his kidney for me.
"Napakalaki ng utang ng loob ko sayo. Lubos na nagpapasalamat ang buong pamilya ko sayo.
"Stay blessed qnd healthy bro greggy! See u when i get out! Qgqin. Thank you and God bless!"
In his earlier posts, Badji revealed that he had been in and out of St. Luke's Medical Center in Global City, Taguig City for more than a year until he finally had a kidney transplant done last week.
He also showed a photo with his parents, Bobot and Milette Mortiz, right before his operation.
In his latest Instagram post, Badji said that he's scheduled to be released from the hospital today, July 9.
Some of the celebrities who prayed for Badji's speedy recovery were Angelica Panganiban, Ynna Asistio, Sharlene San Pedro, Miles Ocampo, Alora, Charee Pineda, and Lorna Tolentino.
