ABS-CBN's Saturday fantasy-drama anthology, Wansapanataym, offers its viewers a fresh tandem as Cristine Reyes and Luis Manzano team up in Ruben Marcelino's Kokak.
Earning a 30.1 percent national rating last Saturday according to Kantar Media, Wansapanataym is said to dominate nationwide Saturday programming.
Viewers will get to learn the story of Kara (Cristine) unfolds this Saturday, October 30. Kara is a beautiful lady who lives in the forest. She has been cursed such that every time she bleeds, she turns into a frog. Kara will cross paths with a man (Luis) who will fall in love with her. Will the curse hinder them from loving each other?
"Ito po ang first Wansapanataym episode ko kaya masayang-masaya po ako. Kakaiba rin kasi yung character ko dito, may hiwaga talaga," said Cristine with a laugh. She added that she enjoyed working with Luis, "Naku, tawa lang ako ng tawa kay Luis. Masaya kasi siya kasama sa set."
Wansapanataym's Kokak, featuring Cristine Reyes and Luis Manzano, will air the first of its two-part episode this Saturday after TV Patrol Sabado.
