Richard Juan thankful his family in Hong Kong remained safe when Super Typhoon Mangkhut slammed the city state: "I'm honestly lucky that I wasn't there."

Kuwento ng dating Pinoy Big Brother housemate, "I'm honestly lucky that I wasn't there.

"I remember my flight back to Manila was on Saturday, 6 p.m. And I was so scared that it might get cancelled and I had work pa on Monday.

"So parang, like, thank God, I was able to fly out."

Dagdag pa ni Richard, "This is the most devastating typhoon we've had in history.

"Like, it's ridiculous how you see videos of cranes falling, the bamboo sticks that fold up, the construction falling around."

Sabi pa ni Richard sa mga biniling masking tape ng ina, "My mom went crazy, she bought a lot because safety first and kesa mabasag yung windows.

"The funny thing is, the only window we forgot to do was the toilet and nabasag yung isa.

"They were worried in a sense how long it will be... 'Cause things were really shaking.

"We live in a high building. My friend's house, yung chandelier nila, it was shaking."

Aniya, "It's good to see that a lot of people help cleaning up.

"Growing up in Hong Kong, I didn't think people would ever experience this.

"So I'm surprised to, you know, see people help cleaning up.

"Of course, schools are all canceled but, yeah, people are getting back to their normal life again and I'm glad to see that."
