Brazilian-Japanese hunk Daniel Matsunaga is the latest addition to the cast of GMA-7's fantasy drama series, Grazilda.
Daniel plays the role of Kasmir, the cold-hearted prince turned amorous lover of Glaiza de Castro's Grazilda. His character is expected to not only spice up the adventures of Grazilda in Fantasia but also add excitement to her journeys in the real world.
This week, Grazilda meets Daniel's character Kasmir as she escapes Fabiola (Sheryl Cruz). She needs to capture a magical creature which is the only animal that can kill the evil Fairy Godmother. But Kasmir will get in her way and make her quest even more complicated.
Meanwhile, Eric realizes the importance of Grazilda and regrets being separated from her. Veronne (Cherie Gil) and Cindy (Yasmien Kurdi) use Eric as bait to manipulate Lolo Leon (Ernie Zarate).
Fabiola uses her magic wand to create an earthquake in Fantasia in order to locate Grazilda. She succeeds but Grazilda and Kasmir's life will be jeopardized. Kasmir saves Grazilda and soon he becomes attracted to her for her sincerity and charming ways.
Will Grazilda find a new Prince Charming in the arms of Kasmir? Can Grazilda end Fabiola's wickedness in Fantasia? Will Grazilda have a change of heart when she finds out the real identity of Kasmir?
ABOUT DANIEL. Three-fourths Brazilian and one-fourth Japanese Daniel Matsunaga is known for his smoldering hot looks, disarming smile and boyish appeal. His stint in Grazilda is his latest effort in pursuing his dream of becoming a good actor.
Daniel left Brazil last year with his sister and fellow model Vanessa to pursue a career in acting and modeling in the Philippines.
He has appeared in GMA-7 shows such as The Last Prince, Love Bug, Kaya ng Powers, Langit sa Piling Mo (where he met current girlfriend Heart Evangelista), and now Grazilda.
Grazilda airs weeknights right after Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown on GMA Telebabad.
